Sending good luck & hope to everyone~ (^_^)/
I haven’t commented much on this thread, but you guys have been one of the most supportive + helpful applicant threads out there.
@SAT2320ACT36GPA4 omg what are your stats? oh wait
I made this thread not ever thinking that the people on here would be so supportive of each other! You guys are really the sweetest group I have ever interacted with on CC, and I hope that tomorrow decisions are in your favor, whether it be for Tufts, Ivy Leagues, or NYU!
I’ll be opening decisions at six flags tomorrow
Wishing you all a good night’s sleep free of worries. Good luck wonderful people
Does tufts admit by major or in general
I’m so scared for tomorrow!! Good luck everyone! We’re meant to go where we were meant to go. I hope it works out for everyone and tomorrow we come out stronger than ever, regardless of the decision. Good luck everyone! Thanks for keeping me somewhat sane throughout this tortuous process!!! Best wishes!!!
i’m so nervous i’m gonna die
Good luck to all of you. I remember what it’s like to be a teenager, and this is a big day for so many of you. Meanwhile, I will tell my daughter to rub the tusk of the school mascot (elephant–true!) and wish her luck also. It’s been fun reading this thread.
Anyone know what time decisions are coming out so I can prepare myself
@screenname3488 Late afternoon whatever that means. Good luck everybody! Hi mom
I think as soon as we get our decisions, we should share it here with one another so then we can either congratulate each other or comfort each other good luck to all of us
Good luck all! ED1 Jumbo here, and I can’t wait to meet y’all!!!
To all you HSers awaiting your fate…I am a father of a daughter going through it too, with some successes (safeties) and some failures (targets and reaches)…I am also a Wall Street guy who has hired lots of people…trust me, at least in business, what college you attended doesn’t matter that much to hiring managers, especially beyond your first job)…and I have worked with several hundred successful, highly-paid people and very few attended a top 20 university…in the 1980s, it mattered…in today’s world, it really doesn’t…it pains me to see my daughter and all of you get so upset about this school vs. that school…wherever you go, it will blaze by so fast and then you’ll be facing a whole balance of your life working for a living–that is what really matters…do your best, HAVE FUN!, and build up a network of people that you can tap into to get a job–especially your HS friends parents, who will probably be your best source! Good luck today and don’t make too big a deal about these outcomes! (I think I will post this on other threads too). NJDad2020
Also getting nervous waiting for decision for my son. Good luck to everyone.
@dorothylewes they admit generally… but if you say that you want to go to the engineering school then you’re most likely up against a different set of applicants
Also, good luck to everyone here! I remember exactly what this felt like a few months ago.,. can’t wait to meet you all!!
I am the father of a HS Sr. and Jr. and I totally agree with NJDad2020, even if he IS most likely a Giants fan…just kidding. I have hired and managed many college grads and experienced workers in the technology space. The college you are from has little to do with my decisions or the capabilities of the professional. Much more important is experience and work attitude.
The college experience is just the beginning of a career journey. Think about it…the very beginning. What you do with the education you receive post graduation, is much more important than the bottom line of a LinkedIn profile…that is why it is the “bottom line of the profile”.
Good luck to all and make the best out of wherever you go to school.
You got this future Jumbos 2020! May the odds be ever in your favor and the force be with you…hugs, an alum and parent of a fellow Jumbo hopeful.
I agree with earlier posts. My daughter has applied to Tufts and is awaiting like everyone else. I will echo the same sentiments, make the most of this time and wherever you go make the most of it. What you do while in college and the relationships you make matter more than where you go. I say this being an ivy grad myself, and having managed hundreds of successful highly paid professionals. Good luck to everyone and enjoy this time.
