I don’t think it’s today? Maybe it means that they will know officially when they’re ready
i wonder when they’ll tell us the “exact date”.
Yuuup 3 PM EST and still nothing on the portal
This is lame
i guess a alot of people applied for ED 2…
Remember that they give themselves about 45 days to process the ED1 applications. To give themselves until the middle of Feb. to do the ED2 round isn’t that unreasonable. Given how many applications they have RD, they can afford to be selective (and they are probably reading some of those too at the same time). There have been a couple of schools in the past few years that have sent out the wrong decisions. Imagine being told that your acceptance was a mistake! EEK! I think I’d rather wait until they’re ready and can do it right.
@pastalover0495 ahhh I know. I wish they’d release how many people apply for ED2, we’re just blindly guessing at our chances
Don’t stress about how many people applied. If you’re qualified and they like you, they’ll accept you. Thinking about that just stresses yourself out and it isn’t worth it. On another note, they STILL haven’t processed my mid-year report!!
@liv101 when did your counselor send it, do you know?
@pastalover0495 not sure. Our term ended in the end of January, so probably early last week.
@liv101 for us, the counselors told us that it would take at least a week for the teachers to upload the grades and send the reports.
Hey everyone! I know that y’all are in an extremely nerve racking part of the application process, but be rest assured everything will be okey.
Every person is an individual and comparing yourselves to others via stats is not a very holistic way to gauge yourself to other students who are also applying. Each person has their own lives and can convey themselves in different ways through their essays. Be confident in yourself and take pride in the life you have had. If you are accepted then great! Congratulations.
If not then admissions probably did that with your best interest and their best interest in mind. There will most definitely be a place that will feel like home regardless of if it is Tufts or not.
Enjoy your senior year and don’t let the stress get to you
It seems like Friday’s a pretty sure bet at this point
hopefully
I called and all they could give me was, “Hopefully by the 15th”
@liv101 For ED I, the financial aid was posted on the portal 2 days after the admission decision. Both the admission letter and the financial aid package were received by mail later. Tufts meets financial need in a very reasonable way. The NPC is accurate.
Do colleges send mail if you’re rejected?
Not that I know of, U only get mail when accepted I believe
@driedmangoes not sure what Tufts does, but I was deferred from an early action school and they did send me a letter.
So are we definitely hearing back on Monday?
