Just got an update on my account (Odd that’s it on a Saturday)! Waitlisted
Can anyone tell me when their Candidacy Reply date is? Is two weeks after being accepted?
Yup its 2 weeks
@SirLancelot84 Awesome, thanks for letting us know.
Waitlisted
Anyone else not get on-campus housing?
also wondering about a facebook group
I was waitlisted; just got accepted to the REAL program today around 4pm EST. Financial aid offer is due “in the next few days” so I’m looking forward to being able to compare offers.
Good luck to everyone!
Update: financial aid package covered all but 4k of estimated cost (4k is my contribution as a student), so it looks like Tufts is where I’ll be going. The REAL program is amazing. Still overwhelmed, since I just got the information a few minutes ago.
Do transfer students have to fill out the advising survey? When I click the link for the survey, it just takes me to my application checklist page.
I don’t think transfer students need to fill out the advising survey. On the New Student Checklist 2017, it says: “Transfer Students: You will be paired with an Advisor and provided with a housing assignment.”
I take this to mean an advisor is chosen for us and we do not take the survey. @tuftstransfer2
@tuftstransfer2 @BelovedInfidel Have either of you been paired with an advisor yet or received information about registering for classes?
@SirLancelot84 Nope, not yet.
Have any waitlisted applicants heard back yet?
I’m transferring out of UC Berkeley to Tufts University. While UC Berkeley has the premed track of one semester of gen chem and two semesters of ochem (and one semester of biochem), Tufts University has a premed track of two semesters of gen chem and one semester of ochem (plus one semester of biochem). Should I take another semester of gen chem at Tufts to join the regular track, or should I skip the second semester of gen chem (since I’m assuming I’ll have already covered all of gen chem in Chem 1A) and take two semesters of ochem?
Also, when do we hear back about housing?
