<p>Yeah, I did the optional essay. I wrote something that I thought was pretty interesting using one of their subjects from topic 7 ("choose one of the phrases below to write a short story blah blah..."). And if you're doing the optional essay's prompt of create something with a piece of paper, then yeah, you would send that in to them.</p>
