[] Essays: I thought my CommonApp was pretty good. I talked about moving from America to India and what living in two different places taught me, and ultimately how this shaped me into a global citizen. I can’t really say the same thing for my Supplement Essays since I wrote those in 2 hours, and at the complete last minute (Literally turned in my application a minute before it was due) But I wrote about things that I thought would appeal to the admissions office and I showed that I had done my research on Tufts.

[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Overall I’m a really well rounded student. My course load is also pretty challenging with 4 HL’s. I think my essays appealed to the whole active and global citizenship that Tufts seems to appreciate.[/li][/ul]General Comments:

You sound like an introspective and bright guy and after reading what you wrote, I had to respond. My son was accepted to Tufts last year and is currently a college freshman. I remember all the rejections, acceptances and waitlists that all came at once.

He also loved Tufts and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. You got accepted at some excellent schools and I’m sure you will fit into one of them very well.
And you will have a better understanding of what to work harder (or better) at in college academically.

Lastly, my son, who could never have imagined going anywhere but Tufts, ultimately he chose to go to UC Berkeley. He loves it at Cal and never looked back.
You won’t either!
Best Regards, a mom with a son in college
