Tufts Transfers- What am I up against?

yea, there is no telling what they're up to..but all that have gotten in have been able to click the link before they received their envelope

grlygrl, I hope it's not bad news that we aren't able to click our links yet..most schools send out their decisions on a rolling basis and it could just be that one, we didn't make the first wave or two, our applications are still under review and our links will be clickable early next week

too much speculation....I just need to knowww

antneeny--

the fact that you can't click on the link yet either kinda makes me feel better bc your stats seem so great.

i guess we'll just have to wait and see

hummm im antsy. this makes me nervous about my final grades.

thanks, I feel the same knowing you're still waiting too

maybe monday is the day?

i hope so, i honestly think you'll get in antneey.

if not monday, im going to call and bribe the student worker at the office.

well i can say i definatly did not expect all this competition this year...i thought tufts was supposed to be a "transfer friendly" school and now i feel like i have no chance

well whatever happens, happens

I'm worried about my final grades. my predicted gpa for the semester will probably be a 3.5 or 3.6 at a state school, compared to my fall grades which were much higher. do think they might rescind my admission if i get in?

how do we know if they wanna see our final grades?

did anyone hear today?

red, I don't think they will revoke your admission, a 3.5-3.6 is still good and your cum. gpa will (assuming when you said "much higher" you meant 3.8+) will roughly be around a 3.7...also, how tough your courseload this semester was will also play a role (a heavier courseload will obviously make your drop in gpa more understandable)

girlygrl, I'm not sure? but I'm due for my weekly call on Monday and plan on asking them what the deal with final grades is then

To the people on this board, stop worrying! If it's any consolation, I'm not going to go to Tufts next fall because I can't afford it. (They have a crappy Financial Aid program and a high sticker price.) So someone will probably have my spot, especially if you've been waitlisted or something like that. Just wait for the mail because TAMS is useless. Plus, they won't give you decisions over the phone. I got mine on the phone because I contacted them awhile ago, plus I told them that I had two admissions offers (Wash U and William and Mary) waiting and needed a response by May 1 (Wash U and William and Mary extended their response dates a little later for me though). So I got a message from one of the transfer counselors. Just wait. I know that's not the answer that you want to hear.

haha, you're right. It's not the answer we wanna hear. But your words are very helpful. Thanks so much.

good luck with everything.

anything new?

nada. but i need to know soon, one of the schools i got into needs to know by next monday.

soooo stressed

Tufts said they are extending the response date to mid-may!

did they give a reason why?

whaaaaaatt

rampant douchebaggery

Furious ballsackery?

guys, mid-may is what most of us were expecting anyway, right? haha, how is an extension? the 15th is less than a week away

that's so true, when I read it I was like, "they're making us wait that much longer?!" but then I calmed down and realized mid may was in only six days

back to the waiting room
