<p>Is Tufts difficult to transfer to? What type of schools do people come from when they transfer there? Is anyone applying for fall '05 tranfer? Post your stats pleaaaase :)</p>

<p>I think Tufts admits something like 40 percent of the the transfer applicant pool. Most of the folks that got in transferred from state schools in New England, although there were some from Georgetown, NYU, U Florida, RIT, etc</p>
<p>Echoing the above poster, my D found Tufts to be one of the more transfer-friendly selective schools. They turned her down as a freshman, but accepted her as a transfer (she ultimately went elsewhere, though.)</p>
<p>I will be coming from a top 30 liberal arts school. Do you think that alone increases my chances of getting in as a transfer?</p>

I'm applying to Tufts as well, my stats aren't too hot but I got a ton of good recos and a decent essay(I hope). MY stats are in my own thread which I started before reading this.</p>

<p>Im curious because Im a strong student but i bombed the SAT math, literally and thats why i think i didnt get into tufts.</p>
