Dear @jmjmm, I’ve been reading about sending a Letter of Continued Interest possibly helping the chances of getting admitted RD. Maybe worth doing?
If it’s any help, I offer that my D goes to your second choice and she is a somewhat arty, vintage wearing and open minded soul. She has had no problems finding like minded friends and she is quite happy there. (She did not apply to Tufts- we are not full paying, so I didn’t even introduce the school as a possibility. We had no counselors advice).
Yes, I meant to ask what kind of essays demonstrates that the applicant would be a good fit at Tufts?
Hi there,
My daughter is applying ED2. Wanted to know her changes:
Weighted and unweighted GPA: 4.14
SAT score: 1540
She’s taken 6 APs (with 5s and 4s results)
She’s active in drama, fencing, IRIS (LGBTQ), and women’s groups.
It just seems so competitive these days. Any thoughts? Is ED2 very hard.
I think her odds are good. Especially if you are FP or close to it.
Thanks. I’m sorry to ask but what is FP? And thank you!!!
Full pay
Thank you. Of course.
Hey @tverner My D applied ED1 with similar stats (GPA: 3.97 U, 5.2 W) and 1520 SAT and similar activities (substitute art for drama and tennis for fencing). She was deferred.
I think your daughter has a great shot. Good luck to her and keep us posted!
Anyone know when ED2 decision comes out?
Thursday, February 2nd at 7PM.
Good luck to all of the ED2ers. My D was deferred ED1 and wasn’t willing to make an ED2 commitment anywhere else, because she’s holding out her deepest hopes for a Tufts’ acceptance.
Best of luck to your D!!
stats??
