Tufts vs. Boston College

Help! I got accepted into both and I dont know how to decide. What are some pros and cons of each?

Both are very prestigious school (Congratz first on getting into both). Tuft 28th in ranking, and BC 37th in ranking. Both school has a beautiful campus. The big question is what are u majoring in?

Also, what kind of a social scene are you looking for? Boston College is big on sports, kind of has the "always can find a party" atmosphere, etc. Tufts is (from what I hear) a little more laid back, with students having fun but still getting work done and such.

I was accepted to both, so I know how the decision thing is. I'm definitely going to be going to Tufts, though.

I will visit both and try to make a decision...I dont really know what I want to major in

Both are great schools, I think it really comes down to where you feel more comfortable. I visited both during a trip to Boston, and I simply felt more comfortable at BC. Two very different vibes, two equally awesome schools.

Tufts is so awesome..the people at tufts are a lot more chill and laid back. also BC is so religious

BC is a lot more conservative. If that's what you want, then go for it.

As far as curriculum, I believe Tufts has a wider variety of options. They have an excellent International Relations program and an experimental college where you can take crazy courses.

If none of that matters to you, though, definitely visit. It's the best way to get a feel, and since they're near eachother, you could do it in one trip.
