Tufts vs. UVA Rodman (OOS)

I got admission into Tufts and the University of Virginia (Rodman Scholar) as an Electrical Engineering major.
Tufts has given me a 75% grant (on total annual cost= 38,000$ a year), so UVA is actually more expensive for me, but I wanted to know how their engineering programs compare.

Tufts does not have a very good engineering program, so if you plan to get a job right after college, go to UVA. Actually I should say that it's not known for it's engineering program, and I certainly don't have the experience at both schools to pass judgement. But UVA's engineering program is better known.

But if you plan to go to grad school, like engineering grad school, it's the overall prestige of the Universities that count for admissions, and not the individual program strength. UVA might have a slight edge, but Tufts is giving you more money, so it's up to you. And ofcourse, there are other factors to consider as well.

Good luck with your decision!

Thanks Ph0enix!
