Since every other school has a proper waitlist discussion thread, I decided to create one for Tufts. I've been sort of "blind" throughout tuft's waitlist process!

Has anyone been taken off the waitlist? Anyone international?
Are they still calling/emailing people??

Hope my fellow waitlistees join the thread!

i emailed admissions a few days ago about the waitlist and they said that it is still “active”, meaning that they have not officially closed it. my guess is that they are waiting for the summer “melt” to proceed with the waitlist. anyway, best of luck to you!

So I logged on to the Tufts Application Management System (TAMS) today for the first time in about a month. The box in the bottom left hand corner that is labeled “Admissions Decision” and “Receive Your Decision” always used to say “Your admissions decision is available to view online,” and when I would click on that link it would display the wait list letter and reply form.

Now, for some reason, that box says: “Your admissions decision is not available online.”

What does that mean? Does it mean they’re currently in the process of reviewing my application, and might accept me off the wait list? Or does it mean absolutely nothing?

Either have I, but late last week I did send them an email asking why my admissions decision was no longer available online. They said they didn’t no why, but that I was still on the wait list and the wait list was still active.

My D received a letter from Tufts yesterday “inviting her to join a small group of candidates on our summer waiting list”. She has until Friday the 29th to respond. I’m wondering how many kids
received such a letter?

my d got this letter as well. I would be interested to know how many of these were sent, and
how many wait list candidates were released. Also does anyone know about how waitlisted for class of 2016 were offered admission this year?
