Tuition Exchange Program

One of my parents is an employee of a school in the tuition exchange program. (Getting into one of these schools with the scholarship would mean almost if not completely free tuition for 4 years.) However, I don't know much about colleges other than the really famous ones, and have not heard of most of these, so I was wondering if someone could look over the list of schools and tell me how good they really are. I don't know what I want to major in, but am interested in english, history, psychology, and languages and would prefer a small-ish liberal arts school, if that makes a difference at all.

Here is the list of schools. <a href="http://www.tuitionexchange.org/schools.cfm">http://www.tuitionexchange.org/schools.cfm</a></p>

Thanks!

Here are some ways to attack that list: Consider what state you want to go to school in. If you’re female, consider the women’s colleges. Start researching the LACs on the TE list. It’s all you can do, really. Once you start identifying some more parameters (your stats, your intended major, your favored location, your EFC/ESC, etc.), then a list of TE colleges will start taking shape, and you can check the likelihood of being admitted into the school and the percentage of TE apps that are granted a TE award. We were lucky, as my kid knew what major she wanted and we researched schools with an accredited major in her desired field in the cities she wanted to live.
