Tuition is up 5% for 2005-2006.

that really stinks... especially if they were to randomly pull financial aid after the first year or two!

In other news, the US dollar has dropped 33% against the Euro since 2001.

This is a pretty large price hike, but the cost of the arena, cable TV, and sports center has to be absorbed by somebody. It's unfortunate that they weren't more upfront about it during admissions.

S has already accepted his scholarship, which was exactly half of last year's tuition. I hope they add 5% to the award.

Dear god, now it's well over $40k. Pretty absurd IMO. If they don't give me a decent scholarship, there's no way I'm going there. My parents could probably afford it, but the money could be spent on other things.

A lot of my friends that were gung-ho on expensive private schools have changed their minds, once the reality of $$$ has sunk in.

Ack this stinks... How do they expect us to pay for all that =.=
