don't let yourself get scared out of applying because of the cost. If you have solid stats (enough to make GW a saftey) then you'll most likely get more money than you'd expect. GW is going to be cheaper than my state school for me.

do they give some sort of money to international students as well??

there's no financial aid for internationals, but you are eligible for merit scholarships. that's how i can afford to go!

How can GW COST SO MUCH??? My DS and I visited and we were both impressed but 49K is more than a LOT of other private uni's. (Case Western for example is 38K)

I think most of the time, the popular saying "location, location, location," fits the prices of colleges.

I will probably not get a scholarship with an 1860 on the SATs (610M 630CR 620W) and top 10% of my class. This is why I am taking the SATs again. My mother is deceased, and my dad makes about 90,000? a year. I also already have a brother is college (luckily he took his full scholarship to St. Peter's). I hope I get some money. I loved the school!

me too, I 'm not sure if I will though. I visited this past thursday and absolutely loved it, definitely my top choice. My stats are not great though. 30 ACT, 3.7 GPA UW. My parents combined make ~95k but I live on LI which is really expensive and I have two brothers already in college. I am looking at getting any decent amount of financial aid.

LI? Parents on the job?

LI=Long Island. I have no idea what you mean by parents on the job, both my parents work if thats what you mean.

lol yea nevermind...on the job means NYPD, FDNY

im from rockland county (ya the county with that huge monstrosity they call a mall) ;) YAY NEW YORK!
