Tuition just pays for classes. Tuition does NOT pay for fees, books, room, board, etc.

Can you provide a link for this program that pays for your tuition. Does it pay for any school or just an instate public school?

Also…if this program does pay for 4 years of tuition, you will have to be very careful with your planning and scheduling so that you do finish in four years.

Also…try to have a part time job during the school year (maybe ten hours a week) and a full time job during the summer to help with other costs. You are going to need money to pay for housing, etc, during the summer months as well.

When I get a part time job when I’m in college should I work every day or days that I don’t have classes

You’ll find a schedule that you like. I worked every day for 3 hours when I was in school because that just worked for me. My last semester I did an internship so couldn’t work on T-Th and since I’d had the job for so long, they adjusted to my schedule.

How many classes did you have

I usually had 5, between 15 and 18 credits. Just the way it worked for me, most were on T-Th, and I tried to get morning classes so I could work afternoons (in the school library). There are thousands of combos that work, so don’t sweat that. If you already work for a company (grocery store, fast food) that is giving you a scholarship, you may be able to continue working for them at a location near your school.

Are you going to have somewhere to stay cheaply during the summer and school year breaks? Your foster family or somewhere else or are you going to have to pay room and board or rent year round?
