<p>They vary from 7 to 8 thousand</p>
<p>I'm not sure if all UC's are the same, but at Berkeley, I pay around $3600 a semester for tuition. Only for summer sessions are tuition fees calculated by the number of units.</p>
<p>at UCI its about 2800 per quarter. Summer- pay up to 8 units. ex. you can take 20 units, but you only pay for 8 units.</p>
