Tulane Admission

I just got accepted to Tulane a few days ago. I was checking gibson, to see if they had processed my application yet (for a few weeks it said my application was incomplete), and it said that I was accepted. I never actually saw that my application was complete; it went straight from incomplete to accepted. Did this same thing happen to anyone else? Does anyone know if when it said my application was incomplete, it actually meant that they were considering it? Or was I just accepted really quickly?

Also, is Tulane more liberal or conservative? Like, is there a strong gay community? What about New Orleans?

Thanks!

Hi ccer101 - Congrats on your acceptance. As far as how your process went, does it really matter?

Tulane is undoubtedly more liberal, almost all college campuses are. But there are certainly conservative and libertarian voices. Tulane has a strong LGBTQ organization, and New Orleans is rather famous for having a gay community. Probably second in reputation behind San Francisco, but not in sheer numbers simply because it is much smaller than New York, etc. I know Tulane Law has done a lot of work supporting gay rights.
