Tulane EA/ED Decisions Class of 2022

also, does anyone know what time the decision will come up online?

@curveboi i’m pretty sure merit scholarships do come with the decision, and they should be up at 5pm ET tomorrow!

We’re from NY, just checked the mail. Nothing from Tulane. :frowning: The wait continues (but just a day or so!)

I understand the idea behind sending letters before updating the portal so that people can get the letters first, but the reality is that for a school that draws people from all over like Tulane, this method just means that a ton of the people applying to the school have to wait longer than everyone else because there’s no way they’ll get the letter before the portal updates. Sigh

has anyone in border states received a letter yet?

Got my decision this morning in the mail! Accepted with a $120,000 merit scholarship and admittance to the honors college

From NJ just got my letter! Woooo!!!

From TX, received my letter this morning— SO EXCITED

Congrats on your acceptance! What were your stats?

@marlaina congrats!!! where are you from/what are your stats?

I’m from a tiny town in West Michigan where no one had ever applied to Tulane. I had a 33 composite and a 3.95 unweighted. I had visited campus twice and had tons of leadership positions as well as attending a prestigious summer program on the West Coast.

You do know you can set up an account with the USPS to have them send you screenshots of what is in your mail…yes?

@marlaina $120,000? I thought the highest merit aid (excluding the DHS and PTA) was $32,000?

So what do you all mean by “letters”? DD received a big envelope this morning (still at school) which we would usually assume is good news but we had a little parent panic when my husband said it’s stiff but not thick. She has a big final tomorrow so we’re going to hide it until tomorrow afternoon if it might not be what she hopes. So did your yes letters come in a big envelope? (Sorry to be such a nervous nelly mother…)

(By the way we are in central TX)

@marlaina Did your ED2 button work last night or did it say not available?

@princessbex13 That would be $32k/year, $120k is approx $30k for each year.

Ahhh okay it didn’t occur to me to think of it as an added up total…duh! :))

Texbritmom, I have read on several pages that people said their acceptance letter came in large thin envelope. Bets of Luck to your DD

Letters are thick and thin and my ED 2 button didn’t work
