Well okay then
@acceptedman Sent at the same time, not necessarily received at the same time. Tulane has no control over that
@sdcax3 I live in San Diego! Should I be worried…?
yea i meany sent at the same time. So therefore there is no correlation as to when you hear your fate vs. your decision. So pretty much everyones letter is somewhere with the USPS.
@EAisStressful Yes, my friend who applied received an outright rejection in the mail today. She didn’t know about “ED2Gate” so unfortunately, we will never know whether or not she could click the button yesterday.
Does anyone know what the average ACT score is for EA accepted students?
Dallas, TX just received acceptance in the mail. I checked my green wave portal and there is no EDII option available, but I do not think acceptances have anything to do with not showing an EDII option on the green wave portal.
Stats: Asian male, National level club soccer athlete, Captain Varsity Soccer, NHS, 1460 Sat, non-ranked at top competitive high school, CEO of two education companies EZtutor.com and EZMentorz.com, and president of Indie Meme, a non-profit that screens indie south Asian films to provide a platform for change, major is business.
Really though deferred or rejected, but got in. I think mails are still delivering till the 20th so good luck to everyone.
Through common app. No letter. Southern California
@freshmesh167 I read on Jeff Schiffman’s blog post from today that the 25th-75th percentiles were 31-34
Don’t think there is a correlation with the application method. I applied through the Green Wave portal and got no letter
@pastpower can you share your friends ACT/GPA?
We are in NC, and the envelope arrived when our mail finally came at 7:30 pm tonight (our mail usually arrives at 5:00 pm). My son was accepted for fall 2018 term with an Academic Recognition Award of $17,000 a year. We are excited for him, but we will need some additional financial aid to make this a possibility. We toured the campus in October, and my son answered the Why Tulane? question. My son applied EA a day before the deadline. Superscored SAT was 1450. Good luck to everyone!
I live in the Phoenix, AZ area and I got my acceptance letter today!
D accepted today. EA. Honors, $27K/yr scholarship. 33 ACT, 33.75 super scored. Prep school. 3.84 UW. Much community service that lines up with campus activity.
Northern California EA accepted. 1540 SAT, 4.7 Weighted GPA, 4.0 Unweighted GPA
We live in Maryland, D got her EA admission letter today via snail mail. She got 30/k per year, accepted into Honors, SAT 1540, very strong “Why Tulane” essay, strong service portfolio and artistic involvement, her weighted GPA is 4.65, and she has 5 AP classes so far, and 3 AP this year, also commended scholar for the National Merit Scholarship.
She visited Tulane iN Soring, she didn’t not have interview.
To those still waiting, don’t stress out, it is Holiday season and your envelope might be stuck in the system.
Congrats to all that got their acceptance letters today!!
Southern California, nothing yet. Based on all the speculation I’ve been deferred. Which is good because my SAT score improved 100 points!
I’m really stressed like everyone else since I didn’t get a letter today, but keep in mind that those who got accepted are way more likely to respond to this forum than those who got rejected since they’re probably disappointed. I know it seems like everyone who got letter today got in but we’re only seeing a very very small percentage of those who got letters today. Good luck everyone!
I’m from upstate and I have not received anything
*PLEASE all post ACT/SAT & GPA and State if you are posting an acceptance * THANK YOU
