Hey guys. So it’s day two of this new year and I already started out with the wrong foot. On New Year’s Eve, my dog suffered a heart attack because of the fireworks and died. I was devastated, and on January 1st I had 4 applications to finish off and turn in. Although I turned in most of them, I completely forgot to submit my NYU application, and ended up doing it about five hours late when I woke panicking that I forgot to do it. My question is, should I just wait to see if I get an email from them or email my representative right away? I’m afraid she’ll think I’m lying and that I’m not responsable to turn my things on time. Please help
Explain your situation to them, and it will be fine. They likely won’t email you because they have many applications to sort through and they have not even started reviewing them yet. They are not going to reject you simply off of that.
