<p>But then again, so was Tallahassee. lol. Anyway, I think Tuscaloosa is a very special place and think this latest ranking is evidence of that.</p>
<p>I looked up some real estate listings. Seemed very reasonable and affordable. :)</p>
<p>Not that I’m thinking of moving there. I love the NC foothills. Alabama’s beautiful but too flat for me. (At least in the T-town area.) Gotta have me some hills and mountains.</p>
<p>But it was interesting to see pix of Tuscaloosa’s residential areas. All we got to see during Bama Bound was (a) the campus; (b) all the “strippy” commercial areas, with the restaurants, hotels, and fast food joints; and (c) several devastated areas. I knew there had to be much more to T-town than that!</p>
