I know it asks who you want to take a class with, but should you mention what class? Like I know who I want, and I know I want it to be a science class, but it seems tutorials tend to be very specific so should I research what’s offered and pick one?
Definitely. Mentioning a tutorial from the course catalog will, I strongly believe, better demonstrate your interest in the college. So, if there is indeed a tutorial you are interested in, mention it, and make sure–whether it is directly or indirectly–to tie your interest in that course to the overall essence of the essay. Also, keep in mind that although the prompt wants you to talk about another person, it is imperative that you express a lot about yourself. Does that help in any way?
