Tutoring as an EC?

<p>So I'm pretty short on ECs as it is, and I'm applying for college this year.</p>

<p>My scenario: I tutor other students for the SAT for pay, can I use this as an EC? The payment isn't exactly on record as of yet, it's like...babysitting for a neighbor as far as the wage goes. Also, would this be like a part-time job, so would I put this on the respective part of an app? I have no idea what this little activity would be considered so any pointers would be helpful, thanks all!</p>

<p>Don’t see why you shouldn’t put it on the app. It’s something you do outside of school, and it’s pretty much working. I say put it in. :)</p>
