Hey! I love happy endings. I don't like reading depressing books because they, well, make me depressed. :) Haha. Who'd have thought that depressing books make people depressed?

Senay, if you don't like Jane Austen that's the right your entitled to, but might I ask how you enjoy the movie adaptations of the book but not the actual book?

i luv movies. that's why i go to the theaters about 3-4 times a week.

Movies are fun unless they're boring or stupid like twilight

hey! twilight was kinda bad....but i loved it. can't wait till new moon

I love sad endings. I don't think I've written a single romance that didn't have a bad ending. And most other stuff I write has a sad/bittersweet ending.

twilight the book was better than twilight the movie

and that's saying something, seeing as i hate the series :D

You are right westcoast! The twilight movie is...horrible! The HP adaptations are so much better, no doubt about it.

Well, I love HP, but the movies aren't very good at all.

There is one movie, that I can truly say, is about as good as the book.
The Princess Bride.

The only reason it isn't as good is because the movie doesn't have the Zoo of Death. If it did...

What I'd like to know is,
how is this thread still alive?

What I'd like to know is why so many intelligent people enjoy Twilight. The characters are shallow and remain flat throughout the series, on top of a startling lack of personality. Meyer's writing style is underdeveloped. Of all the books targeted at the pre-teen and teen markets, this is the one that has created such a frenzy? Puh-lease.

^ PERFECT. That is the ONLY movie ever that transitioned well from its book. Well, I think Lord of the Rings was good too, but that's because it's like a real, timeless classic and the book has amazing content. The Princess Bride could have been a total failure, but it was surprisingly breathtaking.

^ WORD!

Twilight is like a Soap Opera.
Because Bella has no personality to speak of, everyone can envision themself as her.

hahahaaha
FEZZIK!!!!

Harry potters movies aren't as good as the book but they're still amazingness which shows how amazing the actual books are
