HI I'm an international freshman applicant. Now i have two offers, one is from UMNN and one is U of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh campus, both major in marketing. Both are good for me. Carlson has a good ranking, but it is only for graduates. While Pittsburgh might have a better location, a smaller size. However. Im very interested in Calson, i want to try its new undergrats program. I also want to know which is easier to get scholarship. And the virtual tour of calson on the website says "every student will receive and use a standard laptop computer", is it for free?
Thanks a lot!

Between the University of Minnesota and the University of Pittsburgh I would choose the U of Minnesota as larger and having more resources and more of an international alumni network.

Thanks a lot!

umn is better I think

I'll choose Carlson!
Thnx!

That's funny... my son is pretty well down to choosing between Pitt and Minnesota as well. We'll be visiting Minneapolis in the next couple of weeks.

Hi - I live in the Twin Cities and work at the U of M. Thought those of you looking at colleges might be interested in this webpage. In my field, the U of M ranks very high. You can take a look and see how we fare for the fields you are considering.

well i live in minneapolis, and i have to say that UMN has an incredible college town area... i don't think pittsburgh or anywhere compares to dinkytown/prospect park. being right on the river with lots of restaurants, shops, etc is amazing.

what did you pick? i am down to the same two colleges as a pre-med major this year

Dude, I went there for a 30 day wrestling camp, I hated the place.
