I definitely don't have it worse but I still hate two-a-days. My school doesn't even have a field. We practice on a patch of grass on Randall's Island (its a public park with alot of space but terrible upkeep). The field is covered in goose ***** and by th end of the summer there wont be any grass left. The heat is the only real thing that I dread. Oh well 10 weeks and its over.

im gonna be a junior and im dreading it because its basically the end of the summer and ill say you have it a little worse because you have longer practices. i have:
7:30-9:30 practice
9:30-10:15 weight room
10:15-10:45 lunch
10:45-11:30 go in a classroom and go over plays and game film
11:30-1:30 practice

Yeah I've been playing my whole life and I would feel pretty worthless if I quit my last year. Besides I like the admiration that goes along with being a football player at my school (we're ranked third in the state).

But people always complain about sports, its just something you do. It is also something that you and your teamates can bond over. I did wrestling for my first 2 years of high school and the best part was having fun complaining with friends about the hell we were in. And I agree that you need to grind sports out and no quit because it does build character in you.

I have a scrimmage after 2 weeks of practice and then the next week after that is my first game. Rainmaker doesnt that suck ending at 5 because its basically most of your day spent on football. Mine ends at 1:30 and in the summer i usally wake up at that time anyway so for me it ends pretty early and then i have the rest of the day to do whatever i want, that is if im not sleeping from being so exhausted. As to why i keep playing, its because i love football. Some people on here might love doing research, others love volunteering, i love playing sports. The only thing is that 2 a days are a **. Its kind of a hate/love type of thing. Like i would say during practice that i *ing hate football, but then after all is said and done, i love it
