Yesterday I set up an interview, which will be next week, with an alumnus from Dartmouth who had contacted me. Today I read my email and another one had written to me! Is this normal for Dartmouth or was this a mistake on their part? What do you think I should say to this second one?

This is not typical. Interviewers are assigned by a regional coordinator alum. I would respond to the second individual, saying that you have an interview with another alum, and give that individual’s name.
Wait and get a response. I am sure it is just an error on someone’s part. Of course, you want to be sure that one of them is not someone other than who they say they are.

My son was interviewed by two alum at the same time, but only one made the initial contact.

^^^Ditto in my son’s case.

Same here …
