Two essays for Princeton Supplement?

Hey I was wondering whether u have to write two essays in the princeton supplement. The supplement is very unclear, is the influencial person and the quotes two diff essays? and it says choose one of the following, but a princeton admissions officer came to my school and said i have to write two. what the heck!

I think two means including the one for the common app. You pick one topic (quote or person) and write 300 words about that in addition to the one on the common app.

does anyone else know FOR SURE? im not sure if i have to write another essay. i really hope not! yea actually the admission officer said three including the commonapp one. so two from the supplement. what the heck! why are they so unclear!

OH MY! You guys are making me nervous. I thought we were only required to write two essays total (1 common + 1 supplement). PLEASE help! THANK YOU!

maybe she meant two from the common app and one from the supplement. I really don't count the 150 word thing as an essay (more like a blurb, but whatever), but she might have.

I believe it's the Common App essay (personal statement) and two Princeton supplemental essays.
The Common App website will have this info.

<a href="http://www.princeton.edu/pr/admissions/u/appl/06/pdf/2011-Common_PU_Supplement.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.princeton.edu/pr/admissions/u/appl/06/pdf/2011-Common_PU_Supplement.pdf</a></p>

i use online application from the common app website. they only give space for one essay on the common app. on the princeton supplement, they say IN ADDITION TO THE 500 ESSAY written on common app, write another 300 words on the given topics( the quotes) and the online app only give space for writing one essay for the supplementary form. the online application shouldnt be wrong, and i think it means one 500 for commonapp and one 300 for supplementary.

Yeah, the form says to write one more for the supplement. I don't see why people aren't believing me. It's not like this is some big mystery.

So is it ok if i wrote one essay for common app and one essay for supplementary? and for the supplementary i wrote about the significant person. but whats the deal with the quotes? do i choose between (significant person) and (one of the quotes)?

You guys are not reading what the above posters said.

Pay attention.

alright ill call princeton and make sure its only ONE supplement essay. but now my question is does the significant person essay also count as one of the themes? So is it ok if i chose significant person essay and NOT one of the quotes, giving me a common app essay, ONE supplement essay, and common app
(150 or less words )altogether?
