OK, for UPenn, they have two essays. One of mine is really good, I've gotten good feedback on it from just about anyone. The other one was kinda rushed, and the prompt sucked:

"Describe the courses of study and the unique characteristics of the University of Pennsylvania that most interest you. Why do these interests make you a good match for Penn?"

Does it really matter that I barely wrote over half a page on this subject? I don't see how this could end up being very long. Anyone wanna read this essay and give me feedback?

I'm sorry but if you can't answer such a frank question, why are you even applying to UPenn? Are you not interested in the school or something? Or do you just bomb at writing?

Actually, I think that's the more important of the two essays because it shows how you fit into the school. I have a hard time believing that you put a lot of effort into it if it's only half a page. I struggled to keep mine under a page. Maybe you could write about extracurricular activities that sound interesting to you? I wrote about a combination of what I want to major in and organizations I want to be involved in, and through in a few more superficial things as well. I'll read it and give you specific advice if it's not already too late.
