Two Parents living in two different states?

Quick Question:

I currently live with my Dad in TN have have been for about 2 years now.

My Mom lives in Ohio and it has been 2 years since I have lived with her.

I was wondering if I qualify for In-State tuition in the State of Ohio?

If you graduate from a high school in TN, you’d most likely be considered a resident of TN.

Some students try to use their non-custodial parent’s address for in-states rates, and colleges know this.

Maybe, yes.

My parents are divorced, but one of them lives in Ohio. Would I still qualify for the tuition subsidy?

As long as a dependent student has one parent who has been an Ohio resident for at least the twelve months immediately preceding enrollment, he or she will be considered a resident whether or not the student actually lived in Ohio. (See C-1 Guidelines)
