lol...mine came in the mail on saturday...i live in texas

me too :)
does anyone know when we will be getting final notifications?

bump...anyone know the final notification?

The transcripts (for semi-finalists) only have to be postmarked by Nov 10th. I believe winners are supposed to be announced around 1/1.

According to Winner Selection in "Instructions for Applying Online":

Selection as a semi-finalist does not mean you are an award recipient.
Award winners will be determined during the following month and notified approximately three months after the deadline.

So, once they receive all the transcripts from the semi-finalists, they will choose the finalists. I believe you should hear in January (the deadline for applying was 9/30/06 which gives them 3 months to choose finalists). At the bottom of the 1st page of the Official Rules it said: "Names of recipients will be posted on the Tylenol website at www.tylenol.com in January 2007."

umm...do we send our tests scores and stuff along with the transcript b/c scores arent included on my school's transcript

I don't remember if they're looking at scores. There is a minimum GPA (2.0 or something low like that) that you must meet and maybe that's what the transcript is used for. Check your semi-finalist letter. What does it say? You can email the administrators of the scholarship, I think.

wow, i applied for this and havnt heard anything from them. dont they contact you even if you did not get it?

No never..I thinkit is just a joke?

they never contacted me either after i applied

were we suppose to just send in the transcript? no SATs, etc.?

I think all it said was send in an unofficial transcript-our school's has every test we have ever taken (including plan, psat, every act and sat and satII, ap) on it though...
If they wanted test scores I am sure they would have asked.

And transfer-they said that if you didn't hear anything back, you didn't advance-I hate it when scholarships do that...

S applied for the Tylenol Scholarship a few days before the September 30 deadline. After spending a significant number of hours on the application, he submitted it and got the message "Online Submitted" immediately after submission. A few weeks ago, he emailed and asked about when there might be some type of update posted. He was told that "Online Submitted" meant it was saved to the "data base, processed and considered for selection" (and obviously denied). I find it funny that an application that took hours to complete could be received, evaluated and denied in less than a second. Based on this experience, I personally feel that no one even looked at his application and that applying was a complete waste of time.

today in the mail i got a letter from the SPA Tylenol program. I didn't make it......sighh.....so i would guess that winners have already been notified by now, since i already received the rejection letter

Were you a semifinalist for Tylenol?

Yes I was (10 char)

Very sorry!
All national level programs are very tough to win.
Reaching the semi round is commendable!!

My DS received a rejection letter today also...

sorry!

did any other semi's receive anything?
