Tyler - how selective is it?

<p>It is relatively easy to find out how selective the standalone art schools are, but I can't find any admissions statistics on Tyler School of Art at Temple U. I can find info on Templ,e of course, but I want to know how hard is it to get into Tyler?</p>

<p>My daughter would have no problem getting into Temple, but Tyler has its own admissions requirements of course.</p>

<p>What percentage of applicants does Tyler accept? I want to know how they compare with Pratt, MICA, etc.</p>

<p>Tyler is at least as competitive as MICA and more competitive than Pratt. I read somewhere that the undergrad BFA program acceptance rate to Tyler is around 20%. It’s easier to get into the BA program in studio art.</p>
