"Type of credits"

<p>I'm filling out the Arizona State application and they ask me what senior year classes I'm taking and what "type of credits" for each of those classes. My choices are year, semester, trimester, and quarter. Basically my question is, are they asking how long the course is? Or are they asking about the grading system? I have English 4 which is year long but graded per semester. I have Econ which is semester long and graded on a semester system. </p>
