Typical ILR Schedule

What does the typical ILR schedule look like first year for transfer students?
Is it possible to only take 4 classes instead of 5? Thanks.

you'll probably want to take 4, most do to adjust

if you have micro and macro econ and your writing seminars down, you'll probably be signed up for:

HR260 - intro human resource management
CB100 - labor history
OB172 - organizational behavior
ST212 - statistics

ILR students pretty much have the schedule made out for them for the first years in the terms of core requirements, so just check one out.

I've done writing seminar already at my old school. I was thinking of doing HR260, ILROB122, Econ Micro 101, and ILRLE240 (Econ of wages and employment) so that I can have no Friday class first semester. And then I would take ST212 and CB100 in the spring. Would I be allowed to do that? Would that work or even be advisable gomestar? Thanks.

You will probably be able to do that. One of my very close friends was a GT to ILR, and he took Labor History (CB100), HR260, LE240, and OB 170* in the fall, and Labor Law (CB201), CB100, and OB171 in the spring (he even managed to take more classes than anyone I know).
Both ST212 and CB100 are offered both semesters, so you will be fine.
*This used to be a 2 course sequence; starting this year, it will be a one semester combined course as OB122.

You will have to take mirco econ before le 240 (the registrar won't allow that). Also, in all of the classes you listed you will almost certainly have a section on Friday so don't count on having that day off. HR and OB should both be very light for you. If you want to take 4 core classes in the fall I would do CB 100, ST 212, OB 122, and micro econ in the fall. Both OB and Stats were both easy classes in my opinon. Then save le 240 and hr 260 till the spring. That way you will spread out the workload some. Also, HR repeats some of whats in OB and it helps if you have a understanding of stats in LE240 (though its not required). Hope this helps.
