Typical SAT I Writing Curve

What's the typical writing curve for SAT?

Bump for you because I'm curious too =D

Pretty bad. March '05 -> 4 wrong, 11/12 essay = 740. A bit worse than what the CB blue book had.

that is pretty bad. haha. werent the old SAT II Writing curves a lot more lenient?

From the variations in my friends' writing grades, I'd say it's a difficult prediction to make; whereas you have a fairly close idea when it comes to math/CR, writing is variable. It seems harsh at times, though. Just remember that the MC is worth strong portion of the writing grade. A person with a 10 essay can easily get a 580 if he or she bombed the multiple choice. I'd say just wait and see. There isn't much you can do.

March 2005- i missed 5 and got 12/12 essay and got a 740.

the curve is pretty intense - just score well on the multiple choice...
basically....

if you get one to two wrong, no biggie
three or more, drastic downhill, apparently
I took it early, so the curves even worse now. : I

March 2005 --> 2 wrong w/ 11/12 essay --> 800
