Typical Sophomore Stress

Hello CC

I'm a sophomore at a fairly competitive high school in California. Our school is pretty well known in terms of API and all that, so maintaining a high GPA isn't the easiest thing. Here's what I've done/am doing so far.

Freshman Year:
- 4.0 GPA
- 770 Korean SAT (out of 800)
- Track and Field
- CSF
- Band
- Fish Club (christian club)
- 20-30 volunteer hours

Sophomore Year:
- 4.14 GPA (weighted) / 3.8? GPA (unweighted)
*1 AP, 2 Honors
- Track and Field
- CSF
- Band (section leader)
- Fish Club (small group leader)
- Red Cross
- 5-10 volunteer hours
- Speech and Debate (debating on whether to continue or not...)

My question is... am I doing enough? I always feel like I'm not doing enough or my grades are lacking. I currently have a B in Honors Pre-Calc and I'm stressing out over that too. If I got some feedback on whether I'm on the right track or if I should be pushing myself even more, I would appreciate it.

One final question I have is: will a 'B' look really bad on your transcript? I know I want to work in the sciences or in the medical field when I'm older, and I know that being good at math and science is a must. Honors Pre-Calc is arguably the hardest math course offered at our school and I'm always worried that it will ruin my chances.

Any advice/comments are appreciated. Thank you
