<p>I just read my acceptance letter from Davis and i already received mine from Santa Cruz a few months ago. I am having a hard time deciding which school to go to. i am not much of a party person although i enjoy the sparse yet occasional blackout. I am not that conservative but far from liberal. i love rock and roll, concerts and festivals. but mostly i want to choose what school i go to based off the amount of outdoor activities available for me. i know that Santa Cruz is in that forest, but that forest is pretty much just around the school right? and Davis is only an hour away from tahoe and the sierras. I need some help. I don't want to be around a bunch of frat kids that think it impresses girls that they hike. i want people who want to conquer mountains and wash in ice cold lakes and eat fish they caught with there hands. i want to hike into the woods with a pop tent, some flint, and a cracker full of pepper. who can help me out?
at the same time i would like to feel like the forest isn't a drive away. i'm torn. how about one of you decide for me.</p>
<p>Santa Cruz is awesome. Its a mountainy beach town. UC Davis sucks… terrible location.</p>
