Hey guys, this is my first post, and trying to figure out what to do is killing me. I got into these schools and I like what I hear about each of them.

My criteria is mainly academic, I want to do pre-law and dual major in physics and economics. I do prefer small discussion-based classrooms, but I mainly just want a good education.

Money wise, no scholarship at Wake, 10,000 a year at Miami so long as I keep above a 3.5, and compared to my other schools, UGA is very cheap because I am a Georgia resident. My family can afford each one, but

Campus setting, I prefer cities because I like going around town, going to festivals, restaurants, and comedy clubs with friends. I like going to the gym and playing sports(tennis, golf, and basketball), but I don't really like going to athletic events. I want to get involved with the Choral program, political activism (I'm fiscally conservative/socially liberal), possibly get involved with a charity program for at risk youth because I do this now any ways. I don't know if I will have time for a study abroad program.

I think that about covers it, ANY input would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and one more thing, I did not get into the Honors program at UGA, will this significantly hurt me in the future.

A 3.5 GPA will be very hard to keep up so you might end up loosing your scholarship your second year at UMiami. If you did not get anything at Wake, it will be very expensive. If UGA is significantly cheaper, go with UGA> You will need money later for law school.

" I did not get into the Honors program at UGA, will this significantly hurt me in the future. "

No, why would it. With honors program you will get some awesome perks while in college like early registration, honors dorm, better research opportunities etc. but after you get out of college it won’t matter much. Just keep your GPA high.

Yeah, you’re definitely right about saving for law school, and my goal in college is to keep a 4.0 no matter where I end up because it would probably be easier to do that at UGA. Do you think that Law School admissions look at where applicants went to school?

Nix Miami because of the 3.5 GPA requirement.

I would go with UGA because you will get a good education, and can save money.

this is what I have been hearing amongst friends and some family
the only parties telling me to go to Wake are people who have been to private colleges like it.
