Hey guys. I've been accepted to both and I'm looking to transfer to one of these fine schools. They will cost more or less the same for me and I am planning to do a double major of psychology/international studies and go to law school.

On one hand the consensus around my house is that Miami will provide a more balanced college experience since its in a nice city with good nightlife, sports and academics

On the other hand, Wake is superior academically (its not ranked so highly for no reason) but its only known by my peers, young and old, as "Hey, didn't Tim Duncan go there?" While employers know better, there is always the chance I'll work internationally since I know some people who can help me out and Miami will probably be more recognizable only because it carries the 'Miami' tag with it. However the campus looks great and while the student body is a bit small, I know I'll get all the attention I need and while the town is no metropolis, there's likely going to be lots of stuff to do (the demon deacons aren't too bad either).

That being said, did anyone face a similar situation? What school did you pick and why? Also, would a lower GPA (3.2/3.3) from Wake be more respectable than a higher GPA (3.5/3.7) from the U? Thanks in advance for all the help!
