U. Mich Deadline?

I'm planning to apply to U.Mich Early Response. But I have a question about the deadline for the app and everything else. I thought Nov. 1st was the last date you could postmark your materials or submit online. On its website, however, it says in Applying -> Deadlines :

"All documents must be received by the deadlines, including application, required test scores, transcripts, essays, counselor recommendation form, teacher recommendation form and any other supplemental materials. When we receive your online application, we will send you an email message confirming that we have received your application and notifying you of when you will receive our admission decision. ONLY after ALL documents and test scores are received can your application be reviewed."

It says "received by the deadlines." Does that mean all my materials (including mailed supplemental materials) have to be at their office by Nov.1st? Or....?

Your part of the application (not the recs and stuff like that) must be in. They'll understand if the recs are a couple days late because of delivery - as long as those are postmarked before the 1st, your fine. Just worry about getting your part in before Nov. 1

Do I need to submit it electronically/postmark it BEFORE Nov. 1st? Or can I still postmark/submit it online ON Nov. 1st before midnight?

I would do it before. i'm sending mine in (electronically) around Oct. 28th-30th, depending on how fine-tuned I can get my essays and making sure my application is proofread so there aren't any errors in it

Thanks, I'll take your advice and try to get it in before Nov. 1st
