U.Mich, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, UVA?

I'm an international student (soon to be a senior in high school), which I heard automatically makes it a little harder for me to get in since I'm from OOS-- correct me if I'm wrong. I really want to get into the University of Michigan because it has one of the best business programs in the country, so I will probably apply EA to LSA and Ross (even though I know I have a super low chance of getting into Ross). If I don't get into UMich, then I'll probably apply regular to Northwestern (it's definitely a reach but I have legacy there- my sister), Carnegie Mellon (also has an amazing business program), or UVA. Please tell me my chances of getting into these colleges based on my grades and EC.
AND if you have any college recommendations for me, please feel free to comment them! I'm planning on majoring in business, so I would prefer if they had a good business program.

GPA (weighted): 3.87
SAT (not super scored, might take it again in October): 2120 (Math-770, Reading-630, Writing- 720)
AP: AP Lang (4), AP Art History (4), planning on taking AP Macro/Micro, AP Calc AB, AP Stats
SAT II: Math 2 (730), Literature (620), planning on taking Chinese
EC: GAFO (service club including service trip to Timor Leste), NHS, JV Touch Rugby, JV Touch Rugby captain, Middle School/Pre-school dance teacher, Wish for Kids (service club), Quill and Scroll, school newspaper journalist/editor/producer, school group work out leader
Work Experience: Summer School counselor, Public School intern

those schools would all be reaches because of your low GPA. you might have a chance at UMich though

What is your uw GPA? UMich’s average for admission was 3.83 last year. Your SAT score is at ~70%. If your uwGPA is not too far off, you should be a match for UMich LSA.

RE: billcsho “What is your uw GPA?”
Apparently my 3.87 GPA is unweighted.

I see. You put that as weighted in your thread. If you have uwGPA of 3.87, you should be match for UMich LSA. Ross is much more competitive though. The ones that I know with direct admission at Ross have spectacular ACT scores and 4.0 GPA. For Northwestern, you need to boost your test scores. By the way, what you think to be “apparent” is apparently the opposite. :)
