U Mich- submitting app Feb. 1 deadline

Will my application be reviewed differently in any way if I submit my materials close to their deadline compared to if I sent it earlier? I know they are rolling admissions, but I read on some CC forums that they don’t do “first come first serve.” Can anyone confirm. My stats are:

OOS
parent legacy
2200+ SAT, 700+ SAT2’s, strong EC’s and recs

I was hoping Michigan would be a match school for me.

Thank you!

No, not at least from my research you look you have a 80% minimum chance of getting in, good job!

Jimbojim, Michigan’s admit rate for OOS applicants is 15%-20%. OOS applicants can no longer regard Michigan as a safety.

Legacy helps for out of state applicants though because then they know u have a high chance of enrolling. Out of state acceptance rate last year was 24% but it keeps dropping.

but overall, they don’t review my app differently with people who submitted earlier right?

No they don’t but supposedly it gets more competitive because they have less space left in their freshmen class from early action acceptance

I have a question, will wolverine access state my application is completed? Right now, all of the documents under “Other Required Materials” have a status that said Received so does that automatically translate to Completed? Thanks!

They will email you and yeah that means complete

I have received an email with my UM ID but nothing that actually states my application is complete. Is this a separate email?
