U Mich vs. ECE Illinois

<p>I have gotten into both the University of Michigan Engineering and the ECE department at Illinois. I will be out of state for both schools, and my parents have saved enough and I have enough scholarships for price to not be a large factor in my decision process. I am interested in doing Computer engineering, however there is about a 2% chance that I may want to switch out of computer engineering or engineering in general. Which school would be better?</p>

<p>I know ECE Illinois is one of the best in the country however Michigan is a better school.</p>

<p>Could you give me some points that will help me make my decision?</p>

<p>Michigan is the more well rounded university if not certain about engineering…also Ann Arbor is more dynamic than Chambana. </p>

<p>If one is significantly cheaper, I’d take the cheaper option. But since you alluded money isn’t really a factor, I would choose Michigan. Unless you like the environment at UIUC better.</p>
