This one provides pictures East Quadrangle – Michigan Housing
Hit up Reddit or call housing since I know there are diagrams of each type.
Thank you for that link, it will be helpful.
However, I’m trying to understand the descriptions (see link) rather than what the dorm room in a specific building looks like. Unfortunately, the groups aren’t broken down by building in the list.

Not sure if this is helpful but the descriptions are sorta what they are. Single room. Single room with bath. Triple with bath etc. Are you looking to live in a suite with 4 others or just with one roommate? I think that’s the way to look at it. Definitely call /email housing.
Most first-year students fall under Rate Type 4, typically because they live in a normal double.
When you go to the housing app it’s a little clearer. There are no quads this year and the triples are all the ones with their own bathrooms which kids have to clean themselves. Those rooms are on North Campus mainly. I think IIRC that covers Rate 1. Rate 3 is the double and Rate 4 is economy double the cheapest room. I can’t remember where the single falls if it’s Rate 2 or with Rate 3. You only get to pref the type of rooms and if your first preference is north campus or not. So not sure how much the floor plans really matter at the end of the day until you know where you end up living and are buying crap.
In the various FB groups for Michigan there are many pictures. My son has also shown me pictures that people have posted. He’s mainly on patio and Discord for their class so maybe you should have you student look in those groups. But the kids discuss it.
