So I have already payed the housing contract and the $225 fee. I will commmit to UF. But I’m leaning towards getting an apartment.
Was that housing contract binding? Like if I go to UF, I have to stay in a dorm?
You do NOT have to stay in the dorm. However, you may lose a portion, or all of your deposit, if you do decided to live off campus.
As a freshman, I highly recommend you live on campus your first year. It will make it easier to meet new people, make friends, and try out various clubs and student groups.
