U of M Online account / Email

<p>So...I tried to check my financial aid status, and it says that it will notify me via my university email when it is ready. However, when I went to check my U of M email with my online ID, it says </p>

<p>"There is no U of M e-mail mailbox associated with this account." Therefore, I won't know when I get a financial aid offer.</p>

<p>Is this just me? Or don't non-registered admitted students get access to email? If you have an online account and could check to see if you get into your email that'd be great. (<a href="http://www.mail.umn.edu/%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.mail.umn.edu/&lt;/a&gt;) Thanks...</p>

<p>You need to go to your college website, such as liberal arts website, then initiate your U of M e-mail.</p>

<p>alright..well i contacted them and they said my email will be activated after i register aka commit to going there</p>

<p>if i'm worried about not hearing about my financial aid offer i'm suppose to forward my email to another address...seems kind of goofy. i dont see why they wouldnt just email my fin aid info to the email i applied with.. (but maybe they do?) who knows..</p>
