I know of UCs in California are more willing to accept community college transfers rather than ones coming from a 4 year university. I was wondering if it is the same for these schools. Or will they be less biased for transfers coming from a 4 year university.
UC’s favor CA CC transfers (not those from other states, who are behind all the CA transfers).
UVa actually guarantees admission for VA CC transfers who hit a certain GPA (3.7, I think).
UNC actually does not discriminate against OOS transfers (they do for freshman admissions). It does not seem extremely difficult to transfer in to.
UMich also does not seem extremely difficult to transfer in to, though that depends on the school (Ross is very difficult, for instance).
