<p>I sent in my deposit!! I am officially going to Rochester next yr. (waitlisted at JHU, so 95% sure) and hope to major in Comparative Literature (or English) and Molecular Genetics (thank goodness for the UR curriculum). Anyone else majoring in similar areas? I can't wait to meet you all in the fall.</p>
<p>awesome...another add to the accepted list...hmm, not exactly those areas, but most probably doing biomedical engineering and going on to med school...nice choice of majors u got there...congrats....</p>

<p>For a number of reasons, I can't go to any campus visits! :(</p>
<p>I think it would be great if anyone had pictures, or a more in-depth view of Rochester, and could post them online. To give those of us who cannot visit a chance to see what we're in for :)</p>

<p>for all u undecided people and people who cant visit campus check out this site for what Rochester looks like: go to the admissions website and on the bottom left click movies and Mp3s and watch the 10 minute movie.</p>
<p>Also check out the flash files on that same link and there's a virtual tour there which shows a lot too. Hope this helped</p>

<p>I was at Open Campus on the 10th too.</p>
<p>BTW...I talked to the officer that reviewed apps from the Texas area....and surprisingly he remembered my name from the apps. He said hundreds of students from the Texas area applied, and only 40 got in. Crazy stuff.</p>
<p>awesome wrzstiav lol. yeah, i'm going this weekend, finally convinced my parents that we should take a trip up there and lucky for having family up there, we could make the trip more meaningful and less boring for them. i'm visiting the financial aid office friday and then the open campus stuff on saturday. give me pics and advice for the trip about the campus visit. like what to check out and where the hottest girls are lol jk jk...u get the gist...</p>

<p>i believe so cause i'm planning to major in bme and do a minor or something in business cause they have a good business school. my cousin's actually doin her mba there...at least she started it a couple years back...dunno what's her status...i think she stopped temporarily when she had twins and might start back again after her twins start going to school full-time...</p>

<p>hey guys...i went to UR today and basically talked about my financial aid package and how i needed more money...did any of u appeal for more aid, and if so, may i see the letter and the result? i'm going back tomorrow for a tour/etc. of the campus...it looks amazing for a preview...</p>
