@kjfuller what are your stats if you don’t mind me asking

I was accepted on March 1st but I haven’t heard anything in regards to financial aid or merit yet. All of my friends who were accepted as well on the 1st have gotten their merit and financial aid packages. Should I be worried? I’m really hoping for (not expecting, but hoping for) merit as I don’t qualify for much need-based financial aid and Rochester is quite expensive. Does the fact that I haven’t heard anything yet mean I didn’t receive anything? Or does it come out in waves?

@collegebott1234 UofR should send you some communication if they don’t believe they will offer you anything. So if you have not received any communication, it may not be yet bad news. Easy thing to do is just send an e-mail to finaid@rochester.edu with your reference number and request an update. UofR is one of the few that follow letter of law in that they send a very descriptive letter of what aid you are getting and why based on css profile for US Citizens. That could mean international applicants may not receive such letter.

@mjuni2001 I’m an international student and I’m still waiting. I think they are viewing my application materials since the additional documents I uploaded on portal seems to be arranged by order.
