I got “alternate listed” which I’m guessing it’s the same thing as wait listed (correct me if I’m wrong)
Just got accepted! International student. And they really emphasizes my EC in the letter.
My son just got accepted - a very nice personalized letter, referencing his common app essay. Acceptance rate is 25% this year - the letter starts off with: “Facing the challenge this year of choosing just one out of every four applicants, the committee and I prioritized evidence of independent self-direction.”
@“IMPATIENT MOM” My son’s acceptance letter reads the same, albeit with different personalization. Honestly, I was a little surprised by some of the aspects that they had highlighted. I guess you just never know exactly what they’re looking for.

If your parents do not call, take the initiative and call yourself. Tell them that it is cost prohibitive.

quick question for all those got accepted, did all of you submit the peer recommendation and/or the writing supplement? I wasn’t able to and I’m wondering how much it will be weighed
